CARBON ASSURANCE BECOMES THE FIRST EIAC-ACCREDITED VALIDATION AND VERIFICATION BODY (VVB) IN THE UAE FOR CLIMATE PROJECTS
- Carbon Assurance has become the first accredited Validation and Verification Body (VVB) in the UAE, officially recognised by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC)
- Carbon Assurance is authorised to validate and verify projects aimed at the reduction, removal, and avoidance of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with international ISO standards

On August 5, 2025, Carbon Assurance was officially accredited by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC), becoming the first Validation and Verification Body (VVB) in the UAE authorised to audit GHG emissions and reductions in compliance with international ISO standards.
This certification empowers Carbon Assurance to validate and verify greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction, removal, and avoidance projects across various sectoral scopes, including renewable energy, manufacturing and energy efficiency. The accreditation is valid across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
This milestone confirms Carbon Assurance’s technical expertise and also marks a significant step toward building a more responsible and sustainable future.
